The lollipop or suckers as some call them, has been around for over a century, but the process of making one is not known to many people.

Lollipops are a type of sugar candy consisting of hard candy mounted on a stick and intended for sucking or licking.

The main ingredient in a standard lollipop is sugar, but most are made primarily from sugar and corn syrup. Water, flavorings (both natural and artificial), and malic or citric acid are others ingredients used in production.

They are not complicated to make and do not really require special equipment for home production.

Are they vegan? Can Vegans Eat Lollipops? Yes. Lollipops are vegan. They are made from a mixture of corn syrup and sugar. All these ingredients are plant based.

But with many variations of lollipops derived from the original recipe, some recipes may contain animal derived products.

In general, the vast majority of Chupa Chups flavours are vegan-friendly.

Their ingredients are mostly sugars, artificial color and fruit flavourings like : Raspberry, Orange, Apple, Cherry, Lemon, Watermelon, Strawberry and Green Apple.
