Since beginning this Plant-Based Diet, my family members have lost weight.

My husband dropped 20 stubborn pounds quickly and painlessly while eating more food than he’s ever eaten before in his life!

It’s simply a nice bi-product of following a delicious plant-based diet.

My father has dropped at least 10.

I am another story however, and you need to know a few things.

I’ve found that you can have a weight stall on this program if you only have 10 pounds to lose, like me, and you don’t watch the fat you are consuming.

I love my olive oil, but using it in my salads every day is adding too many calories, as are the nuts I usually add.

I also think that some people like me might have to watch starchy veggies like potatoes, and grains like rice to keep the weight loss progressing.

My husband has used olive oil liberally and still did very well in terms of weight loss.

He is now minimizing olive oil because fat is fat, and it does clog your arteries, like it or not.

And I am one of those women who must exercise for thirty minutes most every day if I want to shed pounds.

I guess short people don’t burn a lot of calories naturally.

It’s not difficult to fit in 30 minutes if you make up your mind that you’re going to do it, no matter what, because taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do every single day.

If you have your health, literally everything else falls into place.

I think the trick here is balance.

You need to try different versions of a plant-based diet and find the version that works best for you.

If you simply follow Dr. Campbell’s list on page 243 of  “The China Study”, it really is the simplest with no measuring or calorie counting, but be aware when he says “minimize” vegetable oils for example, you need to find how much that is for you to reach your weight or health goals.

For me it’s almost none! And that’s OK.

I am a real life witness that a plant-based lifestyle reverses disease and makes you feel better than ever, literally.

If you take Dr. Campbell’s advice and try it for 30 days, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

If you do some planning and are prepared, you won’t be hungry.

If you have weight to lose, it will probably come right off, you’ll feel better, look better, sleep better, and your whole body will probably work better.

In fact you don’t even have to worry about losing weight.

When you follow a plant-based diet it just happens!
