Shampoo Recipes that Moisturize Your Hair

1. You will need

  • 2/3 cup liquid castile soap,
  • ½ cup distilled water,
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt.
  • 3 teaspoons jojoba oil.
  • 15 drops of peppermint essential oil.
  • 5 drops of spearmint essential oil and 5 drops of bergamot essential oil.

2. Pour ingredients into a jar, shake well to combine, and cover with a lid.

3. Be sure to shake your shampoo before each use.

Natural Homemade Shampoo for Normal Hair

1. You will need

  • ½ cup of liquid castile soap.
  • ½ cup of distilled water and 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

2. Combine ingredients, and shake before using.

3. Add a scented essential oil to mixture if you desire.

Recipe for Oily Hair

1. You will need /

  • 2 cups of distilled water.
  • 2 tablespoons of dried spearmint.
  • 1 tablespoon of dried sage.
  • 1/4 cup grated castile soap and a few drops of any essential oil you like.

2. Place distilled water in a pot, cover and bring to a boil.

3. Add peppermint, dried spearmint, and sage. Cover the pot.

4. Remove pot from heat, and set aside for about 20 minutes.

5. Strain the mixture and throw away the herbs.

6. Add the castile soap and stir.

7. Add a few drops of essential oil.

8. Store in a bottle that makes it easy to dispense the shampoo.

Shampoo Recipe for an Itchy Scalp

1. You will need :

  • 8 ounces of water.
  • 1 teaspoon of stinging nettles.
  • 1 teaspoon of lavender, and 3 ounces of castile soap.

2. Combine ingredients in a pot and simmer for 30 minutes.

3. Strain the mixture and discard the herbs.

4. Add the castile soap and shake gently.

Super Simple Shampoo Recipe Without Soap

1. You will need :

  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  • 1 cup of warm water and one drop of essential oil.

2. Combine ingredients in a bottle.

3. Shake well, and you are ready to shampoo.
