What is Cholelithiasis: The Diet for Gallbladder Diseases’s Patients

As life goes on, many people do not think much about the quality of the meals and their life style in general.

With time the organism wears out or the problems of infectious character occur.

Such a disease as cholelithiasis develops because of harmful meals, abuse of unhealthy foods, and alcohol beverages.

It is possible that the genetic factor also has its influence.

The earlier a person starts treatment and changes his lifestyle, the better it is for him.

The treatment and the diet are the most important criteria for health state improvement for the patients suffering from cholelithiasis.

Cholelithiasis is stones formation in the gallbladder and its channels.

It develops when the metabolism disorder occurs.

Bile produced by the liver changes its composition.

The balance between cholesterol, bile acids and fatty acids is broken.

There is the excess of poisonous substance bilirubin, hardly dissolvable in water (the product of hemoglobin disintegration that is transported to the liver for the further transformation and utilization), bile pigment.

The liver turns it into low-toxic bilirubin.

It gets into the bile and after, through the bile channels into the gallbladder.

Bilirubin amount in blood under the normal conditions is not considerable.

With liver malfunction or if the gall bladder channels are impassable, bilirubin enters the blood.

The rise of bilirubin in blood occurs.

Skin and eyes acquire a yellow color.

This is a typical symptom of liver, gallbladder or gallbladder channels diseases.

Such symptoms may accompany a hereditary disease, named hyperbilirubinemia.

1-Cholelithiasis Manifestation

Cholelithiasis is manifested by the colic in the right subcostal area with spreading to the back, upward.

Exposure to cold often provokes such colic, as well as fatty and hot spicy food and nervous tension.

It can occur also due to moving of the stones in the gallbladder and its channels.

Healthy eating, regular physical exercise, and active lifestyle is essential to prevent colic from re-occurring and the disease from progressing.

Continuing healthy lifestyle will help to eliminate bile stagnation in the gallbladder.

Besides, the patients need to fight with infectious diseases.

The disease treatment is long and based upon healthy eating.

During the periods of progressing disease, a sparing diet is required.
