Organic foods can be expensive!

In some instances it is worth your money and in some instances it is not.

Here is an easy list for you to copy onto an index card and carry with you all the time.

The foods that you must buy organic are the ones that, because of their structure, are loaded with pesticides that get into your tissues if you do not buy them as organic.

This has to do with the structure of the plant itself.

Here is your list of MUST BUY ORGANIC:

Apples, celery, sweet bell peppers, peaches strawberries, imported nectarines, grapes, spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, domestic blueberries, potatoes, green beans, kale and collard greens.

When you can, buy these from a local farmer to get them as fresh as possible and therefore with the highest nutrient content.

These are the foods that are okay to not buy organic :

Onions, pineapples, avocado, cabbage, sweet peas, asparagus, mangoes, eggplant, kiwi, domestic cantaloupe, sweet potatoes, grapefruit, watermelon and mushrooms.

Remember that it is much less expensive to participate in preventive health and it is to restore your health.

Think of how many of those organic foods you can buy for the price of ONE MRI; one lost day at work; a trip to the Emergency Room; not living to see a graduation or wedding day; leaving your loved ones too early.
