Vegan recipe with lentils : Comfortable green lentil soup, rich in flavors and vitamins.
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 thinly chopped onion
- A glass of well-washed green lentils
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 2-3 celery stalks
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Kurt nut grated nutmeg
- black pepper
In a deep saucepan, lightly fry the onion. Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into small cubes. And fry lightly. Add the green lentils and cover with about 3 liters of water. Add the spices and celery and bring to a boil.
The soup is ready when the lentils and vegetables are soft.
It is advisable not to overcook. Over-cooking causes the loss of vitamins and minerals found in vegetables and legumes.
